The Receptionist is responsible for greeting everyone who enters the lobby, answering and transferring all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner. The Receptionist also provides information, direction and other assistance to residents, staff, guests, visitors and vendors while performing a variety of clerical duties as assigned.
Communicate efficiently in English, using proper grammar, in a pleasant manner.
Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience at an intermediate level required.
Experience with office equipment such as a high capacity copy machine and postage machine is preferred.
Accurately complete a multiplicity of routine tasks, following specific instructions carefully and general instructions completely.
High School diploma preferred.
Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching and carrying items occurs throughout the day.
R.N. Baylor Nurse
Full-Time Baylor Weekends 7pm-7am, (work 23 hours get paid for 32 hours)

The R.N. Baylor Nurse is responsible for providing resident care according to Pomperaug Woods’ policies and procedures and all state/federal regulations. Primary job functions include administrating medications, providing treatments, and documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Assists in quality improvement audits. Models and promotes Pomperaug Woods CARES program.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current valid Connecticut nursing license.
Read, write and speak English fluently.
Geriatric nursing experience preferred.
Demonstrate sound judgment during emergency situations.
Read and calculate medication dosages frequently.
Communicate effectively (verbal, written), show compassion and maintain professionalism
Maintain confidentiality at all times with confidential data such as resident personal and medical records, etc.
Strong time management and organizational skills
Works well independently and/or as part of a team.
Constant walking or standing 50% and sitting 50% of the time, frequent pushing, pulling reaching bending kneeling.
